When you step inside, you’ll be greeted by a large open plan living, kitchen and dining area which becomes flooded with natural light. Whether you want to prepare a delicious home cooked meal for the family, gather around the table or relax in front of the TV with a good film, this is the most inviting space. Ash Lodge also has three cosy bedrooms, two bathrooms, and an additional living and dining area on the first floor which opens out onto a delightful private balcony.

From the living area you can step through the sliding doors onto your own private, decked terrace. On a sunny day you can sit on the comfy chairs, sheltered under the parasol and enjoy a glass of wine or a bite to eat. There’s even a barbecue provided for those summer festivities.

If you don’t fancy venturing too far away from the lodge, there’s plenty on your doorstep to keep you occupied. On-site you’ll find a restaurant and bar, pitch and putt, tennis court and for the adventurous, the Flow Rider wave machine. To see more of the stunning beauty that Cornwall has to offer, you won’t have to travel far to reach picturesque Padstow and its fantastic restaurants.

Welcome to Windmills; a truly stunning cottage set within a secluded coastal location close to the beautiful fishing port of Mevagissey. Once parked, walk up to your door with its charming gold seahorse door knocker.
Inside, all is revealed, a superb open-plan living space, with hand-crafted fixtures and fittings throughout. The kitchen is well-equipped, bright, and spacious with its own breakfast bar. The dining area accommodates six guests with ease whilst the living room has quality soft furnishings and sumptuous seating, a lovely wood burner for those chilly evenings, and a generous-sized TV. There is a useful utility room with a washing machine too. The stairs with their stylish black and white banisters lead up to the first floor from where the views become even more impressive. All three bedrooms offer en-suite facilities and underfloor heating; bedroom one has a king-size bed, TV, walk-in shower, and, oh, those sea views! Bedroom two, with its charming mint green colour scheme, has a kingsize zip and link facility, sea views, a quirky sun-funnel, and a walk-in shower. The third bedroom is quite delightful in subtle pink hues, with a double bed, shower, and superb hand-made vanity units. Venture outside and you will find a secluded space with garden furniture, ideal for morning coffee before you set off!
The hot tub is in an idyllic setting with room for eight guests, and offers a wondrous view towards Mevagissey harbour. Then, of course, you have your own sympathetically restored railway carriage! With super lighting and electric sockets. You can take a ferry from Mevagissey to Fowey, an ancient port set within beautiful surroundings and full of charm. Situated in a tranquil hamlet just over 8 miles from the coast, these four beautiful cottages have been converted from barns dating back to 1824, and retain many original features. Tregrill Farm, where the owner lives on-site, is ideally located for visiting the whole of Cornwall, South Devon, Bodmin Moor and Dartmoor, with countryside walks accessible directly from the door. The stunning South Cornwall coast, with its attractive fishing villages such as Polperro and Looe as well as the famous South West Coastal Path, is a short drive away. The fishing port of Looe can also be reached by taking the scenic train journey from Liskeard, 2 miles away. The maritime city of Plymouth is only a 30-minute drive away with the National Marine Aquarium and its historic Barbican district. The fantastic Eden Project, 10 miles, Cotehele and the Lost Gardens of Heligan are amongst the many wonderful Cornish gardens and historic houses which are within easy reach of Tregrill Farm. The Rame Peninsula, known as Cornwall’s Forgotten Corner, is close by with picturesque villages and quiet beaches and Whitsand Bay, which is popular with surfers, is only 12 miles away. Ideally located for exploring the delights of The Lizard Peninsula and the picturesque Helford River and creeks, this detached cottage sits along a quiet country lane, close to St Anthony Creek and the banks of the Helford River. Helford boasts a lovely waterfront pub, which serves local food and ales. Just a short stroll away is the centre of Manaccan, with its thatched cottages and village pub. The area is popular for sailing, water sports, kayaking and fishing, all within easy reach. The Lizard Peninsula is a secret haven of glorious beaches and pretty villages with colourful cottages. Stunning Kynance Cove is only a 15-minute drive away, or visit the lighthouse at The Lizard Peninsula, the UK’s most southerly point. Coverack, St Kevern and Mullion Cove are all well worth a visit and are within easy reach.
Cundurrow Cottage makes the perfect base from which to explore all that south Cornwall has to offer. The cottage provides comfortable and cosy accommodation with a good-sized kitchen, and a beamed living room and a dining room with warming wood burners. French doors lead from the living room out onto a large, enclosed garden, backing onto fields, making the perfect place to unwind in after a day’s exploring. Polean Farm Cottages are located in Cornwall, down green lanes, off the Looe to Polperro road, just outside the village of Pelynt. The farm is set amongst rolling farmland and is less than 2 miles from the sea. All of the cottages are full of character and provide a cosy home-from-home. They have all been converted from original farm buildings which date back to the 18th century.
The Old Farmhouse (ref UK12895) is a historical, semi-detached farmhouse which has been tastefully renovated and is perfect for a large family get together or for two families to holiday together.
Little Owls Cottage (ref UK12896) is a detached barn named after the owls that still live in the nesting boxes around the building which can sometimes be heard at night. It is set in its own garden with glorious views across the farm and towards the village of Pelynt.
Rosebud Cottage (ref UK12897) and Shires Rest (ref UK12899) are pleasant, beamed cottages with lovely countryside views. Before being converted, both cottages were used to store hay in the winter and you can still see many of the original features.
Threpney Cottage (ref UK12898) is an imaginatively converted ’roundhouse’ and is full of character. The cottage was named after the old twelve sided three penny piece due to its shape.
Twinkles Cottage (ref UK12900) is a charming and spacious ‘upside down’, beamed cottage, with great views across the farm and surrounding countryside.
Waggoners Cottage (ref UK12901) is a delightful single-storey cottage, with its own garden and views of the front fields and the children’s play area at the rear. The cottage was named after the wagons that used to be stored in it and you can still see many of the original features of the barn.
The Mealhouse (ref UK12902) was originally used to store the feed or ‘meal’ for the pigs that resided in the pig sty which can still be seen across from it. The Mealhouse is detached and set slightly apart from the other cottages, offering uninterrupted views across the farm.
Polean Farm provides the perfect destination for a family holiday. The farm offers animal feeding each week day morning, where you may help bottle feed lambs (seasonal) and hand feed pigmy goats and chickens, as well as enjoy pony or tractor rides! The farm is also a working livery yard and children and parents often enjoy visiting the horses and ponies each day.
Guests have free use of an indoor heated swimming pool just a few minutes’ drive away. It’s perfect for families and children who want to splash around or those wanting to put in a few lengths and keep fit. Guests are also welcome to make free use of the nightly entertainment at the same local holiday complex which is just a few minutes’ drive from the farm. The entertainment is on every night and includes children’s entertainment, followed by grown up entertainment with top musicians, performers and comedians regularly appearing throughout the season. Children are allowed in the venue for the whole evening. Please note, the pool is not available during August due to overcrowding, and entertainment is not available November-March (except during school holidays). Sea Home is a lovely family house with three of its four bedrooms conveniently located on the ground floor. The fourth, a superb master bedroom with en-suite bedroom is set on the first floor as is the library, a tranquil area in the house if you are looking for a spot of privacy from the rest of your party. There are views from most rooms including bedroom two, bedroom one, the library, the living room with comfortable seating for six, and the dining room which has a large table and seating for six.
This property has a strong Vodafone signal and a comprehensive information pack with useful phone numbers and addresses for the local area. The welcome hamper includes Spanish Cava, biscuits, coffee, chocolate, cheese, grapes and chutney. Inside, you will find a fantastic quality kitchen equipped with NEFF appliances, a treat for any keen cook. French doors open between the living and the dining areas making this the ideal space for entertaining, or simply enjoying a special meal with your family. A stone’s throw away from Sea Home is the mile long sandy beach patrolled daily by the Royal National Lifeboat Institution Coastguard. Access to The Southwest Coastal Path is also less than a minute away providing excellent walking opportunities to the iconic harbour of Porthleven to the east and to Prussia Cove and St Michael’s Mount to the west.
Praa Sands Village is a short walk from Sea Home and has no shortage of local amenities including the StonesReef beachfront complex, a pub and restaurant, cafes and a general hardware and gift store. There is also a 9-hole Golf course, a fuel station and a Co-Op a short distance away.
