Brixham, EnglandThis cosy, terraced cottage, ideal for a couple, lies just 1 minute’s walk from the bustling harbour of Brixham. With a modern interior, large L-shaped sofa and a cosy bedroom at the rear, it’s perfect for seaside holidays or romantic short breaks throughout the year. This old fishing store has been lovingly converted into a super little cottage. It was previously used as a store for the local fishermen working out of the harbour, and has probably seen an array of fishing characters come through the door in its long history.
The picturesque harbour town of Brixham lies in the heart of the English Riviera and boasts a thriving fishing industry which lends itself to the many seafood restaurants around the harbour. There are many smugglers stories abound and a full sized replica of Sir Francis Drake’s Golden Hind to explore, along with craft markets and lots of festivals. This eight bedroom former guest house is set in its own grounds with car parking for twelve cars and a lawned garden in which to relax in peace and tranquillity and there is a barbecue for your enjoyment. Exmouth, England 4.53Exmouth, Devon’s oldest seaside resort, has a busy little harbour to the west and high red cliffs with coastal paths to the east. Situated in a quiet residential area, this lovely detached holiday house offers an excellent base for a family holiday or for friends to get together. Take a ferry to Starcross and stroll to Powderham Castle. Close by, there are afternoon river cruises on the Exe Estuary with views of Starcross, Powderham Castle, Topsham, Lympstone and the wildlife, or take a visit to ‘World of Country Life’.
