Wrens Perch offers fabulous views overlooking Brixham harbour and beyond to the sea. The property was renovated in 2018 to a good contemporary standard with stylish fittings, appliances, atmospheric lighting and quality soft furnishings throughout.

Downstairs the entrance hallway leads to a double bedroom with French doors that lead out to its own patio area at the front of the property. There is an additional downstairs bedroom, also boasting French doors leading to the rear courtyard with a seating area, ideal for al fresco dining. The partially glass staircase with built in lighting leads up to an open plan living area. There is a lovely contemporary kitchen with fully integrated appliances, a kitchen island and a high spec coffee machine. The living/dining area offers ample seating and a very cosy wood burner where you can either sit and watch the TV or gaze out through the bi-folding doors looking out over the harbour from the Juliet balcony.

On the second floor, the beautiful master bedroom, with en-suite facilities, has a double bed with extra seating to look out over the gorgeous views through the glass apex window. From the kitchen area there are patio doors which lead out onto the landscaped rear garden. Compass Point is located in the historic fishing town of Brixham on the south west coast of Devon. This three-storey house, only a short walk from the harbour front, is only a 5-minute walk to a notorious restaurant where you can enjoy beautiful breakfasts, lunches and evening meals. For those who want a nice hearty meal, there is a wonderful pub/restaurant situated only 175 yards from the property, which has a dog friendly beer garden. With a shop only 4 minutes away, all your needs for your stay are there for you.

There is plenty to see and do here in Brixham, including a museum, pirate boat and festival, and with nearby towns such as Dartmouth, you can explore with only a short distance to travel. If you drive or even get the bus into Paignton, you can catch a train and head off to many more exciting places such as Exeter, Plymouth and Totnes. In Brixham there is an outdoor sea pool at Shoalstone enjoy. The best beach to explore close to the property is Churston Cove, which is a 5-minute drive away. Beach 1 mile. Shop ¼ mile, pub and restaurant 175 yards.

Shewte Farm is an elegant, Grade II listed, galleried stone barn and has a floor-to-ceiling picture window offering spectacular views over Dartmoor. Sleeping six comfortably in three spacious bedrooms, it has an open plan living space with French limestone floor, underfloor heating and a wood burner. It has been furnished throughout with characterful antiques and the highest quality linen. Guests also have use of the adjoining games barn and the tree house.
The location is idyllic and ever so peaceful, set in the middle of 80 acres of fields, woods and streams set between the National Park and National Trust land. The area is exceptionally rich in wildlife including buzzards, deer, otters (part of National England Otter Survey) and sky larks, as well as England’s largest collection of bog myrtle. The location is perfect for walking or cycling on Dartmoor, visiting numerous beaches or National Trust properties. Despite this rural setting not far from Bovey Tracey, which include an excellent delicatessen, butcher, baker and restaurants. Beach 10 miles. Shops and restaurants 1½ miles.

The Cider Barn is a luxurious and spacious three-bedroom holiday home with a hot tub, two bathrooms and a large private garden set in the heart of Devon. Originally a 17th-century farmstead, the accommodation has been refurbished to a high standard for up to six guests to enjoy, and the property feels stylish and beautiful with its unique interiors. The barn is attached to the back of the owner’s farmhouse but guests will have private access with their own front door and driveway space, enough for up to four cars.
As you enter, you will be welcomed into the hallway area which has bench seating, a washer/dryer, and is perfect for hanging coats up and kicking off those wellies after a bracing walk in the countryside. The spacious living room is comfortably furnished with a large corner sofa, Smart TV with Freeview and a gas wood burner. One of the kingsize bedrooms is located on the ground floor and there is a handy shower room across the hallway.
Head upstairs to discover the other two kingsize bedrooms, one of which has zip and link beds and can be set up with twin beds if requested. The elegant kitchen/diner is also located on the first floor, making the most of the beautiful views across the countryside. It is well equipped with all the key appliances and offers plenty of space to enjoy a meal together sat at the large dining table.
The secluded garden is a fantastic space to relax and unwind in with its lawn, seating area, charcoal barbeque and private wood-fired hot tub backing onto the surrounding fields. A pizza oven can be rented for a small fee and trout fishing is also available on request. There are two footpaths meandering through the owner’s land which can be accessed 100m from the front door of The Cider Barn, leading off into the fields or to the local pubs which serve the most delicious food.
The historic cathedral city of Exeter is 12 miles away with easy parking and a direct rail link from Crediton. The scenic national parks of Exmoor and Dartmoor are within a 40-minute drive away. Dartmoor is a vast moorland defined by forests, rivers, wetlands, and tors (rock formations). The South Devon ‘Jurassic’ coast is a 50-minute drive away while the rugged North Devon coast and surfing beaches are a 60-minute drive away. The Cider Barn is ideal for families and groups of friends looking for a peaceful, relaxing holiday.

Palm View is a delightful holiday property situated just outside of the town of Paignton, a seaside town making up part of the beautiful English Riviera and close to the beautiful village of Stoke Gabriel. This pet friendly bungalow benefits off road parking and picturesque garden and is just a 10-minute downhill walk into the town.
As you enter Palm View you find yourself in the bright and airy open plan living/dining/kitchen area. With fully equipped kitchen and central island, perfect for rustling up a good meal. The living/dining area is alongside this with comfortable sofa seating, Freeview TV and glimpses of the sea. This area as a whole is very social with doors opening out onto the rear garden, a great set up for hosting those summer barbecues for family and friends. The rear garden is a lovely area to sit out in with various plants/shrubs and seating on the decked area. Just up the road from Palm View are Primley Woods, a large field and wooded area which is great for walking those four legged friends. Just a short walk downhill into the first part of the town is where you can find several takeaways, shops and pubs as well as a laundrette if needed. A bit further into town and onto Paignton seafront and beach with its arcades, pier, mini golf course and various pubs/restaurants often hosting live music. Paignton harbour also has some good quality new restaurants, especially for seafood. If guests are wanting to explore the local area as well as Paignton, the nearby towns of Torquay with its marina, the famous fishing town of Brixham and Dartmouth and Kingswear are a relatively short drive away, as is the nearby city of Exeter. The town is only a 15 minute walk and only a 20 minute walk from the coast.
