The historic and family friendly Bowgie Inn is adjacent and offers a wide selection of food as well as local beers and ciders, and sports fans can enjoy Sky coverage. A general store (open in season) can be found nearby, and Crantock village and its shops are only 1 mile away. The lively resort of Newquay, with its cliffs honeycombed by numerous caves, is 5 miles across the estuary to the north. Springdale Farmhouse can be found surrounded by open countryside on top of the stunning Yorkshire Wolds, just outside the pretty village of Rudston and close to the thriving harbour town of Bridlington in North Yorkshire. This holiday home is perfect for families to gather and celebrate spending time together. The country style kitchen offers a host of modern appliances. There is plenty of work top space for preparing delicious home cooked meals for the family.
Springdale Farmhouse offers three different living rooms. The main area provides seating for the full group, a warming open fire for the cooler winter months and garden access out to the hot tub. In the evening take one of the two staircases to the floors above and find a selection of bedrooms to choose from. The master bedroom offers far reaching views and includes an en-suite. There are a further four bedrooms on the first floor. The final bedroom can be found on the second floor and spans the full length of the house. With vaulted ceilings, very low beams (height approximately 5 foot) and two zip and link super king size beds, this room is ideal for the younger visitors in the group. An enclosed formal courtyard sits to the rear of Springdale Farmhouse and is a sun trap during the summer months, and to the front of the house are neatly trimmed lawns and wood fired hot tub; here you can enjoy the stunning views, keep an eye out for deer, hares and owl or simply star gaze late into the night.

Situated on the North Downs, Denmark House the perfect place to spend time with family and friends. The property has been a successful world class residential recording studio for many years, and now, after extensive renovations, we have now opened our doors for short term lettings. The studio is available on request, and we also have on-site an equestrian centre and café, where you can book riding lessons and hacks. On the ground floor, the main living area is a light, spacious and open plan living, kitchen and dining areas, with a large open fire place. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could need, including a 7-burner range cooker. The ground floor also contains a second iving room in the studio section, there are also two double bedrooms and a shower room with toliet. The first floor has its own open plan living space, three double and three single bedrooms and a shower room.
You’ll be located just outside the quiet village of Bluebell Hill, with stunning views and walks on your doorstop. There is a great pub down the road, and the village of Maidstone is just 10 minutes away by car. You can even be in London for a night out within 50 minutes. As we do have neighbours we do ask that you are in from the garden by 9.00pm and when outside you are mindful of your noise levels and language. The property is situated in land classed as SSSI (a Special Site of Scientific Interest), and you can enjoys miles and miles of fantastic walk and views.
The county town of Kent has excellent retail stores, pubs, clubs, coffee shops, cinemas and restaurants. Local areas of interest are Mote Park (set in 450 acres and includes woodlands and lakes), Leeds Castle, Chatham Historic Dockyard, Maidstone Museum and numerous golf courses. Nearby towns include Sevenoaks, Royal Tunbridge Wells, Rochester, West Malling, Folkestone, Dover and Whitstable. Brighton is only a 45-minute drive away! You are spoilt for choice if you want to go shopping, with the Bluewater shopping centre is a short 20-minute drive away, and Ashford Outlet Centre is 30-minutes away. Both are accessible by local public transport.
