The Bunker backs onto the trees at the rear side of this lodge park. The private hot tub is set on the south-facing sunny decking and is perfect in all seasons. In the evening enjoy looking out at the clear skies which can often seen from the lodge. The lodge park is set just within the Northumberland National Park, and is perfect for stargazers and keen photographers.

The Bunker has been designed with high quality in mind, ideal for friends and families. This modern contemporary-style lodge has TVs in all the bedrooms and plenty of natural light streaming in from the large windows.

It is not unusual to spot little red squirrels and other wildlife around the lodge and surrounding areas so keep your camera at the ready to witness the wildlife close up. The lodge park is set a mile from the very popular wedding venue Le Petit Chateau and nearby Woodhill Hall, so is just perfect for making a relaxing weekend of the occasion. The village store a mile away is ideal for last-minute shopping with a small off licence. The on-site restaurant offers delicious meals with a small bar (check opening times).

A little further afield, Kielder Water makes a fantastic day out with rugged moors and woodlands, perfect for adventure seekers. The observatory is a real must for star-gazing enthusiasts (booking essential). Bellingham is 9 miles away with a few cafés and a couple of pubs, a butcher, a bakery, and a large food store. If you have time to spare then you must take a trip over to the coast with miles of sandy beaches, friendly villages, and historic castles to explore.

These two lodges, each with a hot tub on the decking, offer differently-styled accommodation for groups of eight. Ideal for holidays or visiting the two large wedding venues nearby in Otterburn. Leafy Run (ref W44043) is a contemporary-style lodge with a hot tub and a peaceful decked area. Reiver’s Rest (ref UKC3402) was completely renovated in 2018, with a private hot tub on the raised south-facing decking and backs onto the woodland in the top corner of the park, with walks from the door. With a fully renovated restaurant on site, the lodges are less than a mile from the centre of the village of Otterburn, on the very edge of the Northumberland National Park. The park is just inside the Gold Tier International Dark Sky Park, the largest in Europe, ideal for stargazers and astronomers. The village has a mill shop, and the shop/café sells local produce. A highly acclaimed wedding venue, Le Petit Château is easily accessed only a mile away and guests can enjoy staying in the lodges and having some downtime after the wedding. The long wooded drive up to the park sets the scene for your break away from the hustle and bustle of city life.

A perfect base for couples or families to explore the Northumberland National Park, Kielder Forest, observatory, and the Scottish Borders. Situated 16 miles from the border counties, outdoor enthusiasts will love this location which is a favourite with walkers and adventure seekers. Bellingham is close by and has a choice of tea rooms, pubs, and village shops. A day trip to Alnwick, with its famous castle, and the Northumberland Heritage Coast, which is peppered with castles and beaches, make for fine days out. Hadrian’s Wall is only a few miles away and is steeped in history, with Roman forts and museums along the way. Hexham and Rothbury are easily accessible and have plenty of pubs and shops. Two miles up the coastline is the traditional fishing port of Seahouses, where boat trips to the nearby Farne Islands – famous for its bird sanctuaries and seal colony – depart regularly from its harbour. Only 2 minutes from the A697 yet set in open countryside with beautiful views and walks from the doorstep, with the Devils Causeway crossing the field by the property. The lovely conservatory, with its seating area and countryside views, is an ideal place in which to wind down after a busy day out.
