Heading upstairs, there is a toilet on the landing before you reach the incredible master bedroom on the first floor. The RSPB bird sanctuary is just along the coast at Bempton Cliffs where thousands of puffins, guillemots, and gannets perch along the rocks. There are viewing points from which to spot all the different breeds of seabirds that arrive every year, as well as the seals that sunbathe on the rocks below. Within an hour you can be in the medieval, walled city of York with its majestic minster standing proudly in the centre of the city.
