The area has a lot of activities for everyone, with the coastal resort of Mablethorpe close by and Sandilands golf course is 1 mile away. With the sandy beaches within walking distance and shops and pub also a stroll away, there is no need to use the car, but if you want to explore further along the coast, the busy seaside resort of Skegness is 14 miles away, the market towns of Alford, 7 miles and Louth, 20 miles, are all worth a day out. There is also a nearby bus stop which is the main bus route from Skegness to Mablethorpe. There is a popular hotel with a bar close by with two tennis courts. Free fishing is also available nearby. The medieval cathedral city of Lincoln is within an hour’s drive across the lovely Wolds countryside, and the market towns of Alford and Louth are well worth a day out. Just over a mile from the beach, where a walk along the promenade takes you north to Mablethorpe and south to Sandilands, your furry friend will absolutely love the walk! There is also a variety of shops, restaurants, takeaway and bars to enjoy, who doesn’t love chips by the sea?!
Donna Nook seal breeding grounds are very popular to visit, with around 200 seal pups born each year, and you will also sometimes see them at Sutton on Sea just offshore or even sunbathing on the beach.
Inland are the market towns of Alford, about a 10-minute drive, and Louth, about 30 minutes’ drive, both with a range of shops and regular markets. Louth is well known for its range of small food shops selling local produce as well as three markets a week, the perfect shopping experience for the designated chef to show off their talent. Good walks and cycle routes throughout the area with miles of unspoilt sandy beaches to stroll along. Shops, pub, restaurant and beach 1.4 miles.

These 5 holiday cabins, each with furnished verandah for dining al fresco, are located 7 miles from Boston, and 20 miles from Skegness. They are situated just outside the small village of Old Leake where there are two pubs, a supermarket and a children’s play area. The site is ½ mile from the A52 with a regular bus service to Boston and Skegness.
Sheepgate Equestrian Centre is 2 miles away, where National Dressage competitions are held. The local RSPB reserve at Freiston Shore is 5 miles away, whilst Leverton village to the south has a café, supermarket and pub.
