It makes a great base for a family holiday and is situated on a popular stretch of the east coast between the seaside towns of Skegness and Mablethorpe. Anderby Creek is just 8 miles, Chapel Saint Leonards is 11 miles and the traditional seaside resort of Skegness is 18 miles. Visit the Lincolnshire Wolds town of Horncastle, famous for its curio and antique shops, or the Georgian market town of Louth. Lincolnshire offers an abundance of great walks and cycles routes, and many can be enjoyed right from the doorstep. A wonderful stretch of unspoilt coastline can be found at the RSPB nature reserve at Gibraltar Point, 20 miles down the coast. Beach 1 mile. Shop ½ mile, pub and restaurant 1 mile.

For family days within half an hour are Butlins, Fantasy Island, Jump Warriors Trampoline park and the popular seaside town of Skegness. During the breeding season a visit to Donna Nook is very popular, where you can see the seals, walk alongside the dunes and beach. Within walking distance of the property is the wonderful Grange Farm Park.
