Bright and welcoming, this dog friendly property has an open plan living space with a large fireplace complete with wood burner and deep sofas. The kitchen and dining area provides all the mod cons to enable the chef in the group to cook delicious home-made fayre throughout the holiday. The central staircase is flooded with natural light from the overhead Velux window and leads to the first floor, where you will find two well-appointed, cosy bedrooms. Both rooms are lovingly furnished with vaulted ceilings. The cottage is tastefully decorated throughout and oozes traditional Yorkshire charm and character. Outside, the small courtyard has seating and enjoys the sun for the majority of the day. It also boasts a private hot tub, the perfect place to relax and enjoy your favorite holiday tipple. As a working stud farm, the owners offer the opportunity to look around and see some of their world class stallions, mares and foals (this can be arranged on arrival). For those with their own horses, stabling is available so your four legged friend can also enjoy a holiday (charges and additional T&Cs apply).
Fraisthorpe Beach is perfect for dog walking and horse riding and is popular with locals for exercising horses all year round. The village of Brandesburton is home to a couple of pubs offering traditional ales and bar meals, alongside a number of shops and restaurants. A short drive brings you to the pretty Wolds town of Beverley offering a host of independent shops, cafés and restaurants. A day at Beverley Races or a round of golf at one of the many local golf courses are sure to keep everyone entertained. The seaside town of Hornsea is on the doorstep and with pony rides, ice-cream and fish and chips is a lovely unspoilt family destination. There is so much to do and see in the surrounding area including the RSPB reserve at Bempton Cliffs and the Nature Reserve at Sprun Point. Beach 6 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 3 miles.

There is not one, but two kitchens, so that the ground floor level is equipped for a couple to have their own personal self-contained space if they wish. On the doorstep, you have a small front garden with a bench, where you can soak up the sun whilst watching the world pass by, with the sea stretching out over the horizon. Stepping inside, this property is beautifully furnished and the owners have created a very desirable holiday home. There are glass doors leading out from the bedroom onto the patio, which opens out into the garden. This part of the property is ideal for a couple or family member who would like to have a little extra space. Up on the first floor, you have the main living room, with comfortable seating for five guests and again you have wonderful sea views to take in. You also have a twin and a single bedroom, as well as the family bathroom with a shower over the bath. On the top floor, you have a super king bedroom under the eaves with velux windows bathing the room in light. The garden boasts a unique feature, a huge summerhouse with a glass partition wall which slides open to reveal an incredible social space complete with a bar, a dartboard, and a separate games room with a ping pong table. There is also plenty of storage for bikes as well as surf boards and any other outdoor equipment. Located on the peaceful end of the beach, just a short stroll leads you to the Floral Hall which holds year-round events as well as serving food from the seafront café. Beyond the Floral Hall you have many more cafés, bars, and shops to explore as well as the arcades for younger family members. A stroll on the promenade is clearly a must during your visit. The famous Hornsea Mere, is a 30 minute walk away, it offers fun-filled days of water sports, and during the summer months, a visit to Hornsea would not be complete without a trip to see Honeysuckle Farm and Mr. Moo’s Ice Cream Parlour. The RSPB reserve of Bempton Cliffs, a haven for birdwatchers, and The Deep at Hull are only a short drive away. You also have the seaside town of Bridlington nearby, with Sewerby Hall and Gardens.
