Bright and welcoming, this dog friendly property has an open plan living space with a large fireplace complete with wood burner and deep sofas. As a working stud farm, the owners offer the opportunity to look around and see some of their world class stallions, mares and foals (this can be arranged on arrival). Fraisthorpe Beach is perfect for dog walking and horse riding and is popular with locals for exercising horses all year round. The village of Brandesburton is home to a couple of pubs offering traditional ales and bar meals, alongside a number of shops and restaurants. A short drive brings you to the pretty Wolds town of Beverley offering a host of independent shops, cafés and restaurants. A day at Beverley Races or a round of golf at one of the many local golf courses are sure to keep everyone entertained. The seaside town of Hornsea is on the doorstep and with pony rides, ice-cream and fish and chips is a lovely unspoilt family destination. This incredible property is set over three floors with four bedrooms welcoming seven guests in total. There is not one, but two kitchens, so that the ground floor level is equipped for a couple to have their own personal self-contained space if they wish. Ideal for families as well as friends holidaying together. On the doorstep, you have a small front garden with a bench, where you can soak up the sun whilst watching the world pass by, with the sea stretching out over the horizon. Stepping inside, this property is beautifully furnished and the owners have created a very desirable holiday home. The garden boasts a unique feature, a huge summerhouse with a glass partition wall which slides open to reveal an incredible social space complete with a bar, a dartboard, and a separate games room with a ping pong table. Located on the peaceful end of the beach, just a short stroll leads you to the Floral Hall which holds year-round events as well as serving food from the seafront café. Beyond the Floral Hall you have many more cafés, bars, and shops to explore as well as the arcades for younger family members. A stroll on the promenade is clearly a must during your visit. The famous Hornsea Mere, is a 30 minute walk away, it offers fun-filled days of water sports, and during the summer months, a visit to Hornsea would not be complete without a trip to see Honeysuckle Farm and Mr. Moo’s Ice Cream Parlour. The RSPB reserve of Bempton Cliffs, a haven for birdwatchers, and The Deep at Hull are only a short drive away. You also have the seaside town of Bridlington nearby, with Sewerby Hall and Gardens. There is also a selection of buckets and spades too! Just a two-minute walk from this holiday home is Bridlington’s award-winning North Beach and promenade. It is also home to a working harbour; the local trawlers are famous for their lobster and crab catches. The vibrant town centre offers a plethora of amenities including a selection of superstores, amusement arcades and of course a host of fish and chip restaurants. A visit to the area would not be complete without exploring RSPB Bempton Cliffs or the coastal towns of Flamborough and Filey.
