This three-bedroomed chocolate-box Grade II thatched cottage sits within Cockington Country Park, 450 acres of heaven less than a mile from the sea. The cottage has three good-sized bedrooms and can comfortably sleep six adults. The master bedroom has a kingsize bed and an en-suite shower room, the second bedroom has a super kingsize bed that can be split to form two single beds (please ensure this is requested if required). The third bedroom has a double bed. Whilst a cot is not provided, the first two bedrooms can accommodate a travel cot. Two z-beds are available and can be sited in rooms 1 and 2.
Between Easter and October, we operate a Tea Garden at the rear of the property between 10am and 5pm. Your privacy is not impinged, your courtyard garden is private and the Tea Garden’s kitchen, although in the same building, is secured from the rest of the cottage. Weavers cottage is situated in a fantastic position for exploring the historic and well-regarded village of Cockington.
Not to mention being just a stone’s throw from Torquay seafront and harbourside with its array of bars/restaurants. There are plenty of beautiful nearby walks and the cottage is situated right in the heart of the English Riviera for ease of access exploring everything the South Hams has to offer.

Torquay is home to an array of popular attractions, many of which are within short walking distance, including the marine themed Living Coasts. Other attractions in the town include the pre-historic caves at Kents Cavern, Babbacombe Model Village and a step back in time at Bygones. The nearest beach to The Bay is Torre Abbey Sands, a family friendly beach.

Lisburne Place is new for the summer of 2021 and has been completely refurbished from top to bottom with new bathrooms, kitchen, flooring and furnishings. It is now a stylish, three bedroom, luxury property in a fantastic location close to Torquay harbour and town centre, with a whole host of amenities right on its doorstep.

On the ground floor the property features a wonderful open plan living space which stretches from the front to the rear of the property. There are sumptuous designer leather sofas where up to six people can relax in comfort, a curved screen TV and a chic all-glass dining table with chairs for dining. The kitchen is newly fitted and features plenty of workspace for cooking, and all the utensils, crockery and cutlery you could need. There is a Bosch Oven and Microwave. There is also a dishwasher and washing machine, plus Smeg appliances such as kettle, toaster and coffee machine. The kitchen gives direct access onto the private courtyard at the rear with a table and chairs along with a sofa, and the communal courtyard beyond, where the parking is located. There is also a separate toilet.

The main bedroom is located on the top second floor of the property. It spans the full width and length of the property and features a stunning wooden bedstead as well as a sofa, and flat screen TV. It also has its own private en-suite shower room. The second bedroom is on the first floor of the property and overlooks the rear courtyard. It has a luxury pocket sprung double bed and features plenty of storage and a flat screen TV. The third bedroom is also on the first floor and is set as a twin bedroom. Also on this floor is a family bathroom, featuring a bath with shower over, plus basin and toilet.

Just a mile from Babbacombe beach and close to Torquay’s centre, Harry’s is a great property for a family to get together and enjoy a holiday in South Devon. As you enter Harry’s through the entrance hallway, there is a downstairs toilet and storage for coats and shoes in the built-in cupboards underneath the stairs. Also on the ground floor there is a large living area with an electric, flame-effect wall mounted fire, a 32" Smart TV and a double sofa bed. There is a door from the living area leading to the outside patio. The dining room/conservatory area, with patio doors leading out onto the outside veranda, is the pefect place to enjoy a family meal whilst admiring the views over the garden. The garden is very pleasant with apple trees and a shed consisting of children’s play equipment for guests to use, as well as deck chairs and a barbecue. Upstairs are three bedrooms, with the master bedroom having a door to the veranda.

As you enter Suzie’s Pad, a useful porch area presents itself, which is ideal for hanging up coats and keeping those sandy shoes after a long day at the beach. The main downstairs living room with a Smart TV is open plan with the dining area, whilst the separate kitchen is fully equipped and benefits from a breakfast bar. A door leads from the kitchen to the rear decked courtyard garden, with sensor light, outside tap and a large outdoor table, chairs and parasol. Through the back gate is the allocated parking space. Upstairs on the first floor are both bathrooms; a shower room and a bathroom with bath and shower attachment. All three bedrooms are located on the first floor and comprise two double and one twin. Hanging rails and storage are provided in all of the bedrooms to organise those messy suitcases!
Suzie’s Pad is situated within a 10-minute walk of Torquay seafront and is also ideally situated for access to Torquay train station, just a ¾-mile walk away. The rest of the English Riviera is great to explore from here as well as the nearby city of Exeter, Dartmouth and much, much more. Beach ¾ mile.

Palm View is a delightful holiday property situated just outside of the town of Paignton, a seaside town making up part of the beautiful English Riviera and close to the beautiful village of Stoke Gabriel. This pet friendly bungalow benefits off road parking and picturesque garden and is just a 10-minute downhill walk into the town.
As you enter Palm View you find yourself in the bright and airy open plan living/dining/kitchen area. With fully equipped kitchen and central island, perfect for rustling up a good meal. The living/dining area is alongside this with comfortable sofa seating, Freeview TV and glimpses of the sea. This area as a whole is very social with doors opening out onto the rear garden, a great set up for hosting those summer barbecues for family and friends. The rear garden is a lovely area to sit out in with various plants/shrubs and seating on the decked area. There is also a large studio in the back garden which guests can use as a games room/lounge area with sofa seating. Back into the property and there are three good sized bedrooms, sleeping up to seven guests! The main bedroom contains a double bed and has fitted wardrobes for guests use. The second bedroom also contains a double bed and the third bedroom has a double bed with single bunk over, a great room for children or adults alike. The family shower room in the property boasts a walk-in shower and stylish his and hers sinks.
Just up the road from Palm View are Primley Woods, a large field and wooded area which is great for walking those four legged friends. Just a short walk downhill into the first part of the town is where you can find several takeaways, shops and pubs as well as a laundrette if needed. A bit further into town and onto Paignton seafront and beach with its arcades, pier, mini golf course and various pubs/restaurants often hosting live music. Paignton harbour also has some good quality new restaurants, especially for seafood. If guests are wanting to explore the local area as well as Paignton, the nearby towns of Torquay with its marina, the famous fishing town of Brixham and Dartmouth and Kingswear are a relatively short drive away, as is the nearby city of Exeter. The town is only a 15 minute walk and only a 20 minute walk from the coast.

Tawny Cottage at Woodbury Farm Cottages boasts both character and contemporary aspects. Based in a rural setting on the owner’s farm, the surroundings give guests the feeling of peace and space while still being just a stone’s throw from the main town of Dartmouth itself. At the front of the property is a patio with seating, making this a great place to enjoy looking out across the rolling nearby fields with a morning coffee or a late-night glass of wine.
Upon entering the property on the ground floor are the three bedrooms. One bedroom contains twin single beds, another with a kingsize bed with its own en-suite shower room, and the final bedroom again contains a kingsize bed with access to the main bathroom from the bedroom and the hallway. Upstairs then leads to the large open plan living/dining/kitchen area, with high vaulted ceilings and lots of natural light, this space feels spacious, bright and airy. Here the kitchen is well-equipped, just next to the dining area with table and chair seating and a cosy wood burner in the living space with Smart TV and sofa seating.
The main town of Dartmouth is just a 10-minute drive away, as are the local supermarkets and petrol stations, just a 5-minute drive in the same direction. The popular Dartmouth golf club is only an 8-minute drive in the opposite direction, as is the family fun adventure park, Woodlands. Guests wanting to venture further afield can take the ferry from Dartmouth acrpss to Kingswear and onto the famous fishing town of Brixham, or alternatively drive into the market town of Totnes and explore the rest of the South Hams
Beautiful local beaches include Blackpool Sands and Slapton Sands which stretches for three miles along the coast, part of the South Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Away from the coast take a trip to the wild beauty of Dartmoor, 40 minutes’ drive away. Regardless of the nature of your visit, Tawny Cottage is a fantastic place to start.

Oaklands is a luxurious and spacious holiday home set in its own acre of ground, with three beautiful bedrooms, two bathrooms and an open plan kitchen, dining and living area all on the same level. Guests will love the rural tranquil location with plenty of wildlife, starry skies, distant views of Dartmoor and beautiful scenery that this perfect get away can offer.
The large kitchen is fully equipped with a farmhouse cooker with two ovens and an induction hob, a fridge/freezer, microwave, coffee machine, dishwasher and a washing machine. After a fun-filled day exploring Devon, gather your friends and family around the large dining table for a celebratory homecooked meal and relax on the comfortable sofas and armchairs or sit outside with a glass of wine and watch the sun go down.

Head upstairs to discover the open-plan living and dining area which is comfortably furnished with plenty of seating, a dining table and chairs, Smart TV with Freeview and a wood burner. The perfect space for winding down and watching a film after a busy day exploring the coastline, or for planning out those up and coming adventures.
