The popular, traditional market takes place every Saturday, and there is a sailing club and an open air sea water baths dating back to 1833. Places to visit include Exbury Gardens, Beaulieu Motor Museum, and the riverside village of Buckler’s Hard and Christchurch Priory. Within easy driving distance and great for family days out are Monkey World, Bovington Tank Museum and Highcliffe Castle. Discover Lulworth Cove on the Jurassic Coastline, or visit Corfe Castle, Stonehenge, Winchester or Salisbury Cathedrals.
