Enjoying uninterrupted views of the award-winning Mawgan Porth beach, this fantastic beach house is surrounded by a third of an acre of beautifully kept gardens with a large, sea facing, sun trap decking area, overlooking gently sloping lawns and a pretty stream that trickles down to the sea below. Solar panels help heat the house and water while providing free electrical car charging for our guests’ electric vehicle.

Over the past year (2022), the house has been renovated to the highest standards by one of the country’s leading interior designers and offers plenty of living space all benefitting from exceptional sea views and floor to ceiling sliding doors leading to a large decking area. The large circular fireplace makes for cosy evenings during the Autumn and Winter months. The brand-new handmade kitchen is well supplied with all creature comforts from a juicer to a selection of coffee machines, including a Nespresso. A door leads into a separate TV room with a big corner sofa, both with fabulous sea views and door to the terrace. Three ground floor bedrooms, ome with chandelier, two with those stunning views. A beautiful glass and oak staircase leads from the entrance hall up to the first floor where you will find three more bedrooms; a double bedroom with en-suite shower room; a large twin bedroom with large en-suite shower room, and one with a TV and sofa bed which enjoys the best views of all.

The beach is just a 5-minute walk away from the garden gate. Off the drive, there is a lawned area and to the side of the house a heated outdoor shower for when you return from the beach. The equipment store has a range of children’s wetsuits and storage for boards. Once cleaned off, you can luxuriate in the state-of-the-art Aspen and Spruce spa with a sauna, experiential shower plus cold water bucket for the brave. Situated mid-way between Padstow and Newquay, Mawgan Porth offers you a beautiful west facing beach, stunning scenery, wondrous walks, superb surfing, an amazing variety of restaurants to suit everyone’s taste and pocket, including a cosy pub, seafood restaurant, cafés, and takeaways all within walking distance of Blue Seas. This is a very special place! Set on the edge of the Suffolk heritage coastline near the ‘secret’ beach of Covehithe, this detached house is surrounded by blue skies, views of fields, woodlands, and nature reserves. The perfect retreat for larger families and groups looking for relaxation, fun and adventures. It is also close to Southwold and has easy access out into the surrounding towns and villages of Suffolk. Within walking distance is the village of Wrentham, with a village shop, pubs and superb café/deli, ideal for getting breakfast.
This country house has spacious accommodation with every care taken to present an exceptional holiday experience. It has large sociable areas, a warm snug with a wood burner for winter cosiness and some downstairs accommodation for those with mobility restrictions. It also has a huge swim-spa and beautiful gardens to enjoy. There is a porch with useful storage leading to the open plan living room, dining area and kitchen. The living area has comfortable seating here for everyone as well as benefitting from a Smart TV and huge bi-fold doors that lead out to the garden and spa. The dining area is complete with dining table and chairs for eleven guests, and the kitchen is equipped with everything you may need to rustle up a homely meal. Downstairs is a snug which can be used as a bedroom (includes mattress topper. wardrobe and blackout curtains) with a Smart TV, and there is also a downstairs bathroom with a big Jacuzzi bath and large rainfall shower. Upstairs are four bedrooms all with wonderful field and woodland views. Outside, make use of the bubbling swim pool/spa with seated jacuzzi area, jets and swim against ’pool’ area, there is a dry ’dome’ to dry off in with towel dryer and warm towels.

Country walks are available all around, and the sea is only a walk or short bike ride away. The Suffolk heritage coastline has fabulous beaches to enjoy. Explore Southwold, a fantastic seaside town with pier, historic lighthouse and high street lined with independent shops and boutiques. RSPB Minsmere and Dunwich heath, offering opportunities for spotting birds and connecting with wildlife, with excellent walks available. For great days out visit Snape Maltings, Framlingham Castle, Halesworth Museum, Yoxford Antiques Centre and Gardens and Easton Farm Park. Vibrant market town of Beccles boasts independent boutiques and chain shops, with an excellent collection of eateries, including fine dining to many cafés serving home-made cakes and savouries to delight many palates. The weekly market is excellent for all things local, and there is an open air heated outdoor swimming pool, popular with many local swimmers and gateway to the Famous Norfolk Broads National Park. The house is a beautiful 1820 building and the conversion is tasteful and contemporary whilst retaining the original features and was fully renovated May 2019. Exposed beams, high ceilings and large windows with panoramic views offer period elegance with every modern comfort catered for. The rooms are set over three floors, starting with an impressive wide entrance hall with plenty of space and storage available. A utility room and downstairs toilet are also provided for your convenience. The vast show stopping kitchen (custom designed by Tom Howley of Surrey), living room and dining area is the perfect place to spend quality time together. The dining table seating ten or more guests is bordered with windows overlooking the lush green gardens and the garden itself is accessed via patio doors. The patio holds a beautiful outdoor sofa, the perfect place to relax your afternoons and evenings away. There is a gas barbecue to provide culinary delights for your friends and family all within the same setting, so the chef is never far from the party!
The Farmhouse is a perfect base to relax, unwind in and explore this unique corner of Britain. With many attractions, countryside and seaside resorts, there is definitely something for everyone. If you want to stay local, the beautiful Brook Bay is a 2-minute drive away and the sunsets on this side of the island are a must see, just stunning.
Osborne House was once Queen Victoria’s favourite residence and is now open to the public and well worth a visit, as are Carisbrook Castle, The Needles rock formations, Robin Hill park with acres of parkland, natural woodland, countryside gardens, adventures and special events, Ventnor Botanical Gardens and Shanklin Chine, a deep wooded gorge with streams and waterfalls. The model village at Godshill is also not to be missed as this gives a good overview of the island and its attractions, all in miniature of course.

With lovely views across open fields, this large detached house is ideal for families looking for a holiday home close to the beach, yet is set in a quiet residential location away from the centre of this traditional seaside resort. Just a short walk from Seacroft Golf Club, with its 18-hole links course, and the sand dunes, this lovely house benefits from a good sized living space, including a large conservatory and a large, enclosed lawned garden. Skegness has something for all the family, whether it’s the traditional amusements, a day out at Pleasure Beach or simply enjoying the sandy beaches. A short stroll away is the wonderful sandy beach and its amenities. Gorleston beach is a bay with a wide curving sandy beach with ramp access, a yacht pond, and children’s splashpad. There are shops, cafes, pubs, restaurants, a local theatre, sailing club and amusements. The beach is dog friendly, and offers great walks along the promenade, on the beach and upper levels, or join the weekend park run along the prom.
For more lively seaside family fun, visit Great Yarmouth, with plenty to entertain, from amusements and arcades to circus shows. Why not have a day out at Pleasurewood Hills family theme park, located on the A47 between Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft? Alternatively, golf clubs can be borrowed for any golfers wanting to play at the local Gorleston golf club.
Seeking shopping and culture? Then enjoy a visit to Norwich City, 40 minutes’ drive where you will be spoilt for shopping, a market square, a cathedral, castle museum, plenty of cafes, restaurants, and pubs.
The famous Norfolk Broads is just 30 minutes’ drive, a National Park with over 125 miles of waterways, abundant with bird and wildlife. Highfield Cottage can be found in a desirable rural location in the Lancashire village of Hambleton, near Poulton-le-Fylde. Detached and surrounded by stunning gardens the property boasts both the main house plus a quaint separate annex across the courtyard.
The accommodation is perfect for those special group occasions with the main house itself incredibly spacious, beautifully furnished and with a selection of living and dining rooms. Tuckenhay Mill is the centrepiece of a cluster of country homes and cottages with superb leisure facilities including two indoor and one outdoor pools.
The Mill which once produced some of the finest paper in the land, nestles in the green and shady Bow Creek, a languid inlet of the River Dart where private yachts have replaced the old tall-masted ships and barges. Around the mill are all the buildings which once went to make up a small bustling village port. These listed buildings have been sympathetically restored and converted to a delightful range of holiday properties to suit larger family parties. Awards have been won for the conversion of buildings and the conservation of the area. With so much to do, many holidaymakers return year after year. There is golf nearby and a pub within 1 mile.



South Devon awaits you
Tuckenhay is only a 20-minute drive from the superb award-winning beach at Blackpool Sands and about 30 minutes from a surfing beach at Bantham, as well as some of the best natural beaches to be found anywhere in the UK.
There is also extensive access to the coastal footpath for walking and the wilderness that is Dartmoor for walking, climbing and riding.
This is a mecca for ramblers, bird-watchers, swimmers, surfers, horse riders, golfers and those interested in fishing, boating, sailing and windsurfing.
In addition, there are many historic NT houses to visit including Agatha Christies’s Greenway as well as a local vineyard.
Tuckenhay is only 5 miles inland from Dartmouth and 3 from the market town of Totnes. Village shop 3½ miles. Riverside inn and restaurant within walking distance.



A superb choice of cottages
Great care has been taken to retain the feel of the original buildings. Most have garden, terrace or patio. Many cottages have more than one bathroom and some have an en-suite bathroom to every bedroom. Kitchens are comprehensively equipped: most have dishwashers and all have microwave cookers.
Couples and honeymooners will feel snug and comfortable in the cottages: Mill Leat, Mill Stream, Mill Spring and now Mill Bank. Families can spread out in Papermaker’s or Turbine Cottages, while Mill Lodge, Edgecombe Barn and Tuckenhay Mill House will sleep larger parties in comfort. Of course, combinations of cottages can accommodate bigger gatherings of family or friends.

These two lovely properties are situated in the village of Cranford, just a short drive from the secluded, dog friendly, sand and shingle beach in the tiny cliff top hamlet of Bucks Mills, one of the most beautiful villages in North Devon. This secluded, hidden gem, with pretty white washed cottages speckled along a wooded valley at the end of a no-through road, makes the perfect location for a holiday all year round. The owner lives nearby and is on hand should you need advice or assistance during your stay.
