Enjoying uninterrupted views of the award-winning Mawgan Porth beach, this fantastic beach house is surrounded by a third of an acre of beautifully kept gardens with a large, sea facing, sun trap decking area, overlooking gently sloping lawns and a pretty stream that trickles down to the sea below. Solar panels help heat the house and water while providing free electrical car charging for our guests’ electric vehicle.

Over the past year (2022), the house has been renovated to the highest standards by one of the country’s leading interior designers and offers plenty of living space all benefitting from exceptional sea views and floor to ceiling sliding doors leading to a large decking area. The large circular fireplace makes for cosy evenings during the Autumn and Winter months. The brand-new handmade kitchen is well supplied with all creature comforts from a juicer to a selection of coffee machines, including a Nespresso. A door leads into a separate TV room with a big corner sofa, both with fabulous sea views and door to the terrace. Three ground floor bedrooms, ome with chandelier, two with those stunning views. A beautiful glass and oak staircase leads from the entrance hall up to the first floor where you will find three more bedrooms; a double bedroom with en-suite shower room; a large twin bedroom with large en-suite shower room, and one with a TV and sofa bed which enjoys the best views of all.

The beach is just a 5-minute walk away from the garden gate. Off the drive, there is a lawned area and to the side of the house a heated outdoor shower for when you return from the beach. The equipment store has a range of children’s wetsuits and storage for boards. Once cleaned off, you can luxuriate in the state-of-the-art Aspen and Spruce spa with a sauna, experiential shower plus cold water bucket for the brave. Situated mid-way between Padstow and Newquay, Mawgan Porth offers you a beautiful west facing beach, stunning scenery, wondrous walks, superb surfing, an amazing variety of restaurants to suit everyone’s taste and pocket, including a cosy pub, seafood restaurant, cafés, and takeaways all within walking distance of Blue Seas. Take a step back from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and enjoy a traditional tranquil Cornish seaside holiday. Overlooking a beautiful 15th-century church, Church View is a five bedroomed house set in the picturesque village of Jacobstow. The house is built in the grounds of a former rectory with easy access to the Atlantic Highway enabling you to explore the many delights of Cornwall. This superb, spacious holiday house provides the perfect setting for family and friends to enjoy a celebration or just to escape and recharge your batteries. The large dining room/kitchen/sunroom is the heart of the property, the perfect spot for an evening meal or lazy breakfast. The living room with its cosy woodburner has glorious views and children will love the study with its games and games console to keep them occupied. There is also storage for bicycles. Widemouth Bay with its wide sandy beach and rolling breakers is no more than a ten minute drive; alternatively, even closer, try Crackington Haven complete with beach café, local pub and restaurant with stunning views overlooking the delightful sheltered beach. There are plenty of things to do and places of interest to visit. Take a trip to Port Isaac or Padstow which is half an hour’s drive, where you can cycle along the Camel Trail from Wadebridge. Further afield you can experience art and culture with the Minack Theatre or Tate Gallery or visit the Eden Project. Shop, pub and restaurant 1 mile.

Set deep in the beautiful Cornish countryside, this Grade II listed, detached barn conversion is a real escape from the crowds, whilst being less than 3 miles to some of the county’s best beaches - most notably Crantock, Holywell Bay and the Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty of the Gannel estuary in Newquay.
The area is full of tourist attractions, both man-made and natural. Amongst the best are Crealy Adventure Park, Lapps Valley Steam Railway, Dairyland, Newquay Zoo, National Trust owned Trerice House and Gardens, through to the beautiful beaches of Newquay (of which there are over 8), the dunes at Holywell Bay and Perranporth and the tranquil Gannel Estuary. The Gannel is a firm favourite with birdwatchers, kayakers and windsurfers and a perfect place for a walk with the dogs and a picnic.
Newquay with its surfing culture is within 4 miles and guests can enjoy discounted surf hire and lessons. Try your hand at this exhilarating sport with local surf coaches. Horse riding, deep sea fishing trips, kayaking and sightseeing trips are all available in and around Newquay. The famous Fistral Beach provides everything you need for that quintessential ingredient of any beach holiday, crabbing and rock pooling, followed by a beach barbecue as the sun sets out to sea. Just a few miles up the coast you will find Watergate Bay, home to a watersports centre, plus a mile of golden sand backed by dramatic cliffs that make this area so unique.
Further along the coast road will bring you to Padstow, home to the gastronomic empire of Rick Stein including his fish and chip shop, where you have to get there early to avoid the queues. Padstow, with its quaint working harbour and narrow cobbled streets that all gravitate back the harbour, are awash with craft and gift shops, galleries and cafés and a real must for all that visit the area. The Camel Trail starts here and bike hire is plentiful at the start. The Eden project, The Lost Gardens of Heligan, St Ives, Port Isaac, home to TV’s ’Doc Martin’, Fowey, and Truro, the county capital are all easily reached from Trescowthick and are all a must to enjoy the diverse aspects of this historic county. The Farmhouse is the perfect rural retreat for family and friends, set in a peaceful location, Caddy’s Corner Farm is located mid-coast between Falmouth and St Ives, the perfect location for exploring the rugged north coast and the tranquil south coast. Just a short distance from the north coast - popular for surfing with long, beautiful, sandy beaches and stunning coastal paths. It is equidistant from the south coast with its picturesque, hidden coves and tranquil sailing waters of the Fal Estuary and River Helford. The Farmhouse is great for extended family and friends, perfect for celebrations and get-togethers. This traditional Cornish farmhouse offers comfortable holiday accommodation for twelve guests and has a large, private, secluded garden, patio, wild flower area and children’s play park on site. It has a large cooking range for feasts around the long farmhouse table. The area is perfect for exploring Cornwall’s peninsulas and just a short distance away is Stithian’s Lake and Water Sports Centre offering sailing, wind surfing, canoeing, climbing and archery, with delightful wildlife and lakeside walks. The area has numerous cycle trails and bikes can be hired locally. Horse riding and golf are available close by. Falmouth, with its busy port and marinas, is a yachting haven and is the home of the National Maritime Museum and Pendennis Castle overlooking the Fal Estuary. Take a sea safari, relax on one of the many pristine, sandy beaches, go shopping, visit art galleries or eat and drink al fresco at bars, cafés or restaurants before returning to The Farmhouse to relax and unwind whilst the children head to the play park on site. Shop 1½ miles, pub and restaurant 1¼ miles.

These four holiday cottages, Sunrise (ref: 25051) and Sunny Skies, (ref: 25052) which stand detached, and Summer Breeze (ref: 25053) and Sunset (ref: 27684), which are semi-detached, enjoy a perfect location for exploring all corners of Cornwall from Lands End in the west to Padstow on the north coast and Fowey, Looe and Polperro on the completely different south coast. The beautiful gardens provide a peaceful haven with summerhouse and children’s play area. The cottages lie just minutes from the south coast including the fishing village of Mevagissey and the seafaring town of Fowey with its royal regatta and Du Maurier Festival (Daphne du Maurier made the town her home). Nearby are the Lost Gardens of Heligan and the amazing Eden Project. Visit Truro, the capital of Cornwall with its Gothic cathedral, surrounded by narrow streets and alleyways lined with shops, cafes, restaurants and bars. St Austell Bay, just minutes away, has a stunning coastline which has pretty coastal towns and villages dotted along its edge. Charlestown is home to a collection of tall sailing ships, an historic harbour and Georgian architecture, all of which have been used as film and TV sets over many years. Porthpean has a lovely unspoilt beach, golf club and views across the bay. Visit Pentewan with picturesque cycle and walking trail along a river and through a 450-year-old woodland. Cycle hire is available from Easter onwards and there are several golf courses nearby. Fishing is also available locally. Shop and restaurant 1½ miles, pub 1 mile.
