    The property itself sits on a 1/2-acre plot, is airy, roomy, and mainly on the one level. A balcony wraps around the house with a glass balustrade, teak dining table, chairs, and sun loungers. Under the house is a large storage room with shower, drying room and a selection of bodyboards and wetsuits. The kitchen/breakfast room, dining room, living room, and master bedroom all have magnificent uninterrupted views of the ocean. To the rear of the property is a snug living room with Freeview TV. One bedroom has two sets of bunk beds which is ideal for younger children.

    Templeton’s location is exemplified by having one of the shortest walks to the beach with access just outside the garden. Templeton nestles at the top of the steps that lead down onto Mawgan Porth’s stunning beach. There is a large stream that runs down the south side of the beach, with plenty of rock pools and connecting caves for exploring. During the high season, lifeguards from the RNLI safeguard the coastline. The beach faces west and is walled with high cliffs providing shelter from the wind however, Atlantic swells often produce large surf. Mawgan Porth, and the pretty village of St. Mawgan, sits in the perfect location for a peaceful, relaxing and wonderfully memorable holiday in Cornwall.

Furthermore, there are an amazing variety of restaurants to suit everyone’s taste and pocket: including a cosy pub, seafood restaurant, cafes, and takeaways.     Cobblestones has some of the best panoramic views in St Mawes, being situated in the exclusive western end of the village close to the castle built by Henry VIII in the 1540s. Cobblestones is reverse level with the main entrance on the same level as the main bedrooms and living area; south facing, with a full width balcony, heated swimming pool (available June to end of August) with permanent safety cover, large garden, plenty of parking and all within walking distance of the village. This is a fantastic property for larger groups and families. the best feature of Cobblestones is, without a doubt, the incredible views. Watch the world go by with yachts, power boats and ferries constantly traversing the vista and occasional shipping movements in Falmouth Bay or heading up the river to the commercial port.
    Cobblestones is a 5-minute walk from the pretty harbour area of St Mawes and is one of Cornwall’s most desirable holiday destinations and the stunning harbour, surrounded by lovely local shops, restaurants, bars and hotels is a constant bustle of vibrancy during the season. There are ferry links from the harbour to St Anthony, Falmouth, Trelissick and Malpas. During the winter it is a quiet, peaceful village that rarely sees frosts or snow. St Mawes Castle was built by Henry VIII and is a splendid place to take in the views of the Carrick Roads.
