Over the past year (2022), the house has been renovated to the highest standards by one of the country’s leading interior designers and offers plenty of living space all benefitting from exceptional sea views and floor to ceiling sliding doors leading to a large decking area. The large circular fireplace makes for cosy evenings during the Autumn and Winter months. The brand-new handmade kitchen is well supplied with all creature comforts from a juicer to a selection of coffee machines, including a Nespresso. A door leads into a separate TV room with a big corner sofa, both with fabulous sea views and door to the terrace. Three ground floor bedrooms, ome with chandelier, two with those stunning views. A beautiful glass and oak staircase leads from the entrance hall up to the first floor where you will find three more bedrooms; a double bedroom with en-suite shower room; a large twin bedroom with large en-suite shower room, and one with a TV and sofa bed which enjoys the best views of all.

The beach is just a 5-minute walk away from the garden gate. Off the drive, there is a lawned area and to the side of the house a heated outdoor shower for when you return from the beach. The equipment store has a range of children’s wetsuits and storage for boards. Once cleaned off, you can luxuriate in the state-of-the-art Aspen and Spruce spa with a sauna, experiential shower plus cold water bucket for the brave. Situated mid-way between Padstow and Newquay, Mawgan Porth offers you a beautiful west facing beach, stunning scenery, wondrous walks, superb surfing, an amazing variety of restaurants to suit everyone’s taste and pocket, including a cosy pub, seafood restaurant, cafés, and takeaways all within walking distance of Blue Seas. The graceful spire of Holbeton church greets you first as you enter this tranquil Devon valley - along with a sign to let you know that you are now in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Alternatively, take a 2-mile walk to the coast through secluded woodland to laze on sandy Mothecombe beach. Totnes, a handsome market town in the South Hams, is easily reached and river cruises can be taken from here down to Dartmouth during the summer months. The owner lives close by and is on hand for help and local knowledge. Whatever you decide, you’ll certainly want to round off the evening with a soak under the stars in your private hot tub with its magically lit amphitheatre. Your stay here at Pentire will rejuvenate and delight you and when you leave you will probably be planning your next visit before you even drive out of the gates! In a lovely rural setting, just 5 miles from the golden sandy beaches of the north Wales coast, situated in the grounds of the owners’ working farm and equestrian property, this delightful, detached, real wood log cabin, one of two, offers comfortable accommodation with its own hot tub. This is a perfect location for families to explore, and is within easy reach of a myriad of attractions and outdoor pursuits including, golf, walking and fishing. Guests are even able to bring their own horses (by arrangement and extra cost) to explore the many delightful bridleways and have use of the outdoor ménage adjacent to the lodges. Abergele, 6 miles, is a traditional market town with a fine selection of amenities, and the city of St Asaph, with its magnificent cathedral is also close by. Beach 5 miles. Ymwlch Barns are a charming complex of barn conversions situated in a quiet hamlet offering beautiful mountain views and country walks. The Dutch barns (UK12872 and UK12873) are superb, semi-detached barn conversions each offering modern open plan living with a luxurious touch and lovely private hot tubs in enclosed courtyards (towels not provided). They each have a kingsize bedroom and a twin room, making them ideal for small families or couples. Kris Kin (ref OXU) is a charming detached barn conversion with oak beams, wooden floor, well-equipped kitchen and an en-suite bathroom. This property also has its own hot tub.

The surroundings are alive with snowdrops in winter and bluebells in spring. The complex is a short drive away from the beach and castle at Criccieth, and a lovely selection of restaurants, cafes, shops and pubs. Situated on the beautiful Lleyn Peninsula, the area is perfect for walking and cycling with an abundance of lovely footpaths and peaceful country lanes. Just under 5 miles away is the lovely town of Porthmadog, with its pretty harbour and the start of fabulous narrow gauge steam train rides on the world famous Ffestiniog railway, which takes you deep into the heart of the magnificent Snowdonia National Park. A little further is the bustling market town of Sheringham, popular with holidaymakers and locals alike. Head east to experience all the fun of the fair and explore the golden mile of Great Yarmouth. In fact, all along the coast in both directions you will find a string of coastal villages with various beach habitats, including grassy sand dunes, shingle and sand beaches, and marshes and quays.

History buffs will find much to see and do including The Blickling Estate and the Thursford and Muckleburgh Collections. Wildlife and nature fans can explore the Broads, Sheringham Park and Cley Marshes. For those wishing to explore on foot, you will find the nearby market town of North Walsham offers lots of places to eat and drink, and the woods offer picturesque walks. The Cottage has commanding, stunning views across the English Channel. This attractive, spacious, family home for all seasons is the ideal property for a relaxing holiday with both friends or relatives.

There is a private hot tub at The Cottage, and the property offers 2 games rooms, 1 in the house with children’s toys, a library, games and 2 table football tables. There is a large, second games room in the garage next to the house which offers a number of activities including: table tennis, pool table, darts, bows and arrows, basketball (outside the garage). These games rooms also feature a kitchenette with a fridge, and seating area with a large sofa, ideal for all ages. Please note this games room is not heated.
A decked terrace runs the length of the property, an ideal spot for soaking up the sun or relax after a brisk winter walk in front of a glowing log burner in the cosy living room, overlooking the frothing waves. Four of the six bedrooms have sea views and the other two have attractive garden views.
The white chalk cliff above St Margaret’s Bay is said to be the first place the sun reaches each morning on mainland Britain! The beach is famous for being the closest point to France and is the spot where Channel swimmers begin their marathon 21 mile swim.
The village itself offers good pubs, restaurants and local shop within walking distance. The coastal path leads to the famous White Cliffs of Dover, gateway to England and now one of the UK’s protected Heritage coasts offering some of the best cliff coastal walking in the country. The lighthouse is the place where Marconi transmitted his first radio broadcast to France. Closer to France than London, bring a passport, catch a ferry from Dover and visit the French markets in Calais and Boulogne for the day.
