The Cider Barn is decorated and furnished to a very high standard by the owners who have years of experience in the hospitality industry, and the attention to detail is evident in every room.
Downstairs is a fabulous open plan living space, with wonderful Bi-folding doors that open to allow the outside in and giving you great views over the Blackdown hills. The kitchen is well-equipped with everything you need and the island unit opens it up to the rest of the room, so you can socialise while creating your next culinary masterpiece! The large Master bedroom on the ground floor has a stunning four-poster bed and en-suite bathroom with roll-top bath and separate shower, while upstairs the second large bedroom features a wonderful kingsize bespoke bed, beautiful beamed vaulted ceiling and statement lighting. There is also a shower room upstairs with walk-in shower.
Outside you will find a Mediterranean style covered seating area complete with its own chandelier, barbecue area and private hot tub, all soaking up the wonderful views!
Set in the lovely village of Bishopswood, with the Somerset Wildlife Trust running adjacent to the property, you are only 5-minutes’ walk from the local pub and surrounded by miles of beautiful walks. The market town of Honiton is just 10 miles away and the beach at Lyme Regis can be reached within a 30-minute drive. Heading north, you will find the county town of Taunton with lots of restaurants, cinema, bowling and shopping, and within an hour’s drive you will find Glastonbury, Street, Minehead and the moors of Exmoor! Beach 18 miles. Shop 3 miles, pub and restaurant 250 yards.

Set in the most northerly town in Wales, on Anglesey, Eryl Mor is a spacious lodge done to a very good standard, this really is a home from home lodge with everything you’ll need and more. A few minutes walk from the lodge and you’ll meet one of Anglesey’s many coastal paths, no matter the weather the scenery is breath taking. There are many beaches within easy reach The Creek, a small cove in Bull Bay is less than a mile away, Lligwy beach less than 7 miles, Bychan Beach 8 miles, Cemaes Bay 5 miles to name a few! Parys Mountain one of the largest copper mines in the world, a must see location a few minutes away. Take a stroll around the network of paths and marvel at the spectacular copper colours surrounding the area. Amlwch harbour dates back to the Middle Ages once a bustling port is only one mile away; in Amlwch you’ll also find places to eat and local shops and pub. Maybe venture a little further and take a drive to Beaumaris home to a UNESCO World Heritage site, Beaumaris Castle, famously known as the castle that was never built! The Yorkshire Wolds offer miles of walking and cycling opportunities whilst Whitby, York and the North Yorkshire Moors are all within an hour’s drive. At Lady Edith’s Holiday Park, you have a welcoming family friendly bar next to a play area, making this fun for everyone. You can also purchase a fishing permit for the local mere, or explore the nearby woodland. In Scarborough there are two bays. North Bay Beach sweeps in a crescent lined with colourful beach huts with the Sea Life Centre at the far end. You can walk from the North Bay all the way along the promenade to the busier South Bay. At the south bay you have all the fun of a traditional seaside holiday with arcades as well as many cafés, restaurants, bars and shops to visit. Both bays have lovely, large sandy beaches. There is also Scarborough Castle which stands on the cliff top between the two bays, as well as the casino and the funfair on the seafront.
Peasholm Park is wonderful to discover, you can hire pedalos and rowing boats to go around the lake and see the stunning oriental gardens. Scarborough is famous for its theatres. There is an outdoor theatre which stages concerts by some of music’s big names, and then there is the Stephen Joseph Theatre which is famous for the premieres of Alan Ayckbourn’s plays. The Alpamare waterpark is great for all ages, with its fantastic wave pool and waterslides, as well as a large heated outdoor infinity pool. Keep younger children entertained with the ’splash and play’ area. For adults there is a spa where you can relax and be pampered. The heated outdoor pools are warm enough to enjoy through all of the seasons. Further along the coast you also have Ravenscar, Whitby, Robin Hood’s Bay and Bridlington to discover. This wonderful cottage has the perfect village location, walking distance to the village pub, and a great location to explore Norfolk’s amazing sandy coastline and its famous Norfolk Broads National Park.
Fully refurbished in 2022 to offer an excellent holiday home, beautifully furnished with open plan accommodation, the living room has comfy sofas and a wood burner, perfect to snuggle beside. The well-equipped kitchen allows opportunity to dine at home, yet within walking distance is the village pub serving good food. To the rear of the cottage is a lovely private, enclosed rear lawn garden with decking, seating furniture and a hot tub.
Close by is Hickling Broad, with a nature reserve that links to the Norfolk Broad’s unique topography of reed-lined waterways, famous for their good coarse fishing, boating and rich variety of wildlife, especially waterfowl. Also 3 miles drive away are the glorious sandy beaches of Sea Palling and Waxham, often visited by seals. Visit Wroxham (10 miles), the capital of the Norfolk Broads, with its waterside cafés, restaurants, shops and daily river trips available. Enjoy a trip through wonderful countryside along the Bure Valley Steam Railway, with opportunity to jump on and off at the riverside villages of Coltishall and Buxton or stay on board and travel to the pretty market town of Aylsham, with eateries, market square with shops and cafes. Daily boat hire is available at nearby Hickling Broad and Potter Heigham, ½ mile and 3½ miles away respectively.
Cyclists and walkers can enjoy the quiet country lanes and trails within the surrounding area. Nearby attractions include many National Trust properties including Blickling and Felbrigg Hall and Horsey Windpump. Visit the seaside resort of Cromer (20 miles) with a promenade and pier, and Sheringham (25 miles), home to the North Norfolk Steam Railway. The city of Norwich (18 miles), with its cathedral, castle, museums, galleries, restaurants, cinema, theatre and shopping with two malls and market square is within easy driving distance. For another great day out, visit Horsey Gap (National Trust) where you can walk on the sand dunes and see the seals and pups on the beach (November to February). Sandy beach 3 miles. A pub serving good food, within walking distance. While there is no shop in Hickling, Stalham (3 miles) offers many shops including a large supermarket.

Owl Barn is situated in a peaceful, rural location between Boston and Skegness. The property is also close to RSPB Frampton marsh which is just 20 minutes drive away and is a very popular spot for birdwatchers and nature lovers to visit. For those visiting shows at Sheepgate Equestrian, Owl barn will make the perfect base as it only 2 miles away. Boston, famous for its Stump and for St Botolph’s Church which sits alongside its market place. There is also the Maud Foster Windmill which is always worth visiting, along with many good shops, restaurants, cafés and pubs for refreshment.
To the north is the traditional seaside resort of Skegness, great for a family day out with its fun fair, amusements, pier, aquarium, and long sandy beaches for strolling alongside the sea. After a day out you can return to your own cosy wood burner and a private hot tub where you can sit back and relax with open views across the fields. There are many good walks and cycle routes throughout the area, so there is plenty to keep everyone entertained. Beach 17½ miles. Shop 1.5 miles and pub 1 mile.

Tucked away on a quiet country lane just 5 miles from the sandy beaches at Chapel St Leonards is this spacious bungalow ideal for a family break with a large garden including a big summerhouse and plenty of space for everyone to enjoy.
Within 15 minutes’ drive you have the traditional seaside resorts of Skegness and Mablethorpe, Fantasy Island, Butlins, Gibraltar Point Nature Reserve as well as The Lincolnshire Wolds. A nearby footpath through the field takes you to the village pub where you can have food, and is a 10-minute walk away, before you return to soak in your own private hot tub and enjoy the open view across the fields.
For those wishing to enjoy a very popular gastro pub there is one at Skendleby approximately a 10-minute drive away. You can even bring your family dog, with two small dogs welcome, but please be aware there could be cattle or sheep in adjacent fields. There are very good walks from the door with the area also being very popular for cyclists. Beach 5 miles. Pub and restaurant ¾ mile.

Dating back to the 17th Century, Hob Cote is a superb semi-detached stone built cottage in a peaceful and picturesque location just 1-mile from artsy Hebden Bridge. Completely renovated throughout in 2021, the cottage and surrounding grounds are simply stunning and come complete with private hot tub. Inside you’ll find beamed ceilings, an impressive stone fireplace boasting a wood burner and stylish wooden panelling to the walls. The three bedrooms are beautifully decorated and super comfortable, which with the peaceful surroundings guarantee a great night’s sleep.
Outside the grounds are delightful and offer stunning far reaching views. To the front you’ll find a south facing patio complete with a Lazy Susan garden set, perfect for sociable meals. To the rear however is the real pièce de resistance. As you step outside the back door you’re greeted by a carefully thought out barbecue and hot tub area offering both privacy and shelter. Beyond this is a further multi layered garden which quite uniquely has a hut at the top complete with wood burner, where you can sit and enjoy the views of the wooded valley below, no matter what the weather.
The location in Midgehole is semi-rural and on the edge of the National Trust owned beauty spot of Hardcastle Crags. Here you can stroll amongst woodland, waterfalls and streams and visit the café at Gibson Mill which offers a range of snacks. Countless other public footpaths are available in the area including the picturesque river path down into Hebden Bridge, which was the UK’s first ‘walkers are welcome’ accredited town. In Hebden Bridge you’ll find a bustling collection of independent shops, bars and cafés as well as a 1920’s Art Deco cinema and a live music venue. Hebden Bridge train station is in the centre of the town and offers a direct service to both Manchester, 30 minutes, and Leeds, 60 minutes, and both the Peak District and Yorkshire Dales National Parks can be reached in around an hours drive.
Due to the age of the property it should be noted that head height is restricted through some doorways; and the stairs are not suitable for guests with restricted mobility, or young children. The stairs are steep, open sided and the treads are not consistent in size.

Apple Tree Lodge is perfect for friends, couples or families to spend some quality time relaxing and enjoying the park and surrounding area. Northumberland is a diverse county with miles of golden beaches on the heritage coast only a few miles away, an abundance of castles and historic sites, a wonderful dark sky National Park and Hadrian’s Wall over in the west. The pretty little market town of Morpeth is only a few miles, here you will find plenty of pubs, restaurants, bespoke shops and riverside boats. Alnwick the ducal town with the popular castle is only a few miles North where some scenes for the Harry Potter and Downton Abbey Films were shot. Nearby Northumberland Zoo is a good day out for the children and Burgham Park Golf Course is nearby. Being close to a great road network you can explore easily from here even taking a day trip to Berwick on Tweed almost on the Scottish Border where you can explore the history of the borders of England and Scotland. A superb private development of holiday homes, situated close to the beach in the traditional east coast holiday resort of Mablethorpe. With its sandy beaches, fair, amusements, Queens Park paddling pools and brightly coloured beach huts, Mablethorpe is a lovely place for a family holiday.
A drive or bus ride south along the coast takes you to Sutton-on-Sea, Sandilands and Anderby Creek, all popular for lovely walks along the seafront or along their sandy beaches. Further south is Fantasy Island and Butlin’s for adventure filled family days out, with Skegness and its funfair and attractions including the Embassy Theatre and Cinema also offering plenty to see and do. To the north is Donna Nook Seal Sanctuary and breeding grounds, which are always well worth a visit during the breeding season with usually around a thousand seal pups born here each year.
