Creating a stylish wardrobe for your pet

Just like us our pets need to wear something different depending on the weather and the occasion! For instance, you wouldn’t want to put your pet in his best bow tie for ruff and tumble walks in the park, splashing in muddy puddles and off lead high jinks – it would be ruined in a moment. Instead, you would want something altogether tougher that could be thrown into the washing machine. But at the same time it’s great to have something to wear for special occasions like doggie birthdays or human celebrations or weekends away. Our stylists at PetsPyjamas have put together some suggestions to make sure your pet looks super stylish at all times.

Everyday collars and leads

For daily walks in the park come rain or shine we recommend a wash and wear collar and lead set like Reg&Bob‘s stylish striped collars and leads. Whether tearing through woodlands, running on muddy ground or dashing into the sea – it doesn’t matter as they are hardwearing and washable as well as being vibrant and fun too!

Special occasion bow ties

Every furry friend needs a bow tie in their wardrobe – for pet’s birthday parties or human celebrations – so they look their best. We recommend Percy & Co‘s gorgeous range of bow ties. We love the Mayfair spotty bow tie and lead set and the Chelsea flowered bow tie and lead. We also love Teddy Maximus‘s Cromwell shetland wool collar and lead set with bow tie, super chic!

Classic styles for town wear

For the hound about town, a classic collar and lead set is called for. We recommend a stylish rolled soft leather collar and lead set from Dogs & Horses. They come in gorgeous collars from classic brown to burnt orange and bright pink.

Country weekends

Nothing beats tweed for weekends away for that Lord of the Manor look. We love Mutts & Hounds Balmoral check or Camello tweed collar and lead set plus matching coat and the House of Paws brown tweed coat.

Cosy coats and knits

And for truly bitter days your dog will thank you for choosing a super cosy coat or sweater like Teddy Maximus’s adorable Liberty print coat or the navy or red cable knit dog jumper.
