About this property

The dog-friendly Pointer is a lovely country pub with rooms  inthe pretty Buckinghamshire village of Brill. Especially dog-friendly, the hotel serves delicious British pub food with fresh, locally sourced food. With oak beams, rustic decor and cosy fireside nooks, the bar is the perfect place to unwind with your best furry friend. After a day of busy walks in and around the village. There is a beautiful restaurant to the rear of the building in a converted 18th century barn with vaulted ceilings which overlooks the enclosed leafy beer garden. The Hotel Serves a variety of cask ales, artisan spirits and liqueurs and a thoughtfully curated wine list. The bedrooms are luxurious and comfortable and there are lots of wonderful walks from the door.

Visit Stowe Landscape Gardens (National Trust) - beautiful gardens scattered with statues and buildings to explore, you can wander for hours. Dogs are welcome all year. They even have a dog trail designed from a dog’s perspective. Wendover Woods has various walking/cycling trails, orienteering as well as a new play trail there’s lots to keep everyone busy. Chiltern Open Air Museum is a large site with over 30 historic buildings to explore. Interactive areas for the children to enjoy. During the holidays there are special activities on Terrific Tuesdays and Lambing days. Dogs are welcome on-lead over the site but not inside the buildings.
