Mawnan Cottage

Mawnan offers couples contemporary and spacious retreats with a large galleried bedroom, an open-plan living space, and a generously sized ground floor shower room. Nestled around a picturesque courtyard, these barn conversions feature an original working water well. Guests can indulge in the amenities, including a large heated outdoor swimming pool with sun loungers, a Jacuzzi, sauna, games room, and a children’s play area with slides and swings. Within a 5 minute drive you will find plenty of fantastic coastal and countryside walks including the nearby Argal and College reservoirs which provide a nature reserve, fishing opportunities. The village shop, pub, and restaurant are just 2 miles away.

On the ground floor, Mawnan has a living/dining room/kitchen with a tiled floor and a shower room with a toilet. Turning stairs lead to the first floor, where a galleried bedroom awaits with a luxurious 6ft bed. The accommodation includes a patio with sitting-out area and furniture. Parking is available for 1 car. All properties offer electricity, bed linen, and towels. Additional features include a large flatscreen TV with access to your streaming services, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, air-con and shared landscaped grounds with a patio and enclosed recreational field featuring children’s play equipment.

Guests can also enjoy the shared outdoor heated swimming pool (12m x 6m, depth 1.5m) open every day from April to September, with changing and shower facilities. A shared hot tub, sauna, and games room with Wi-Fi, pool table, table tennis, and air hockey are available (some facilities at an additional cost).
