A delightful, picture-perfect thatched country inn, The Ley Arms has been a welcoming abode for locals and travellers since the 13th century. Initially housing the workers who constructed St Andrews church opposite, completed in 1300, it later adopted its name from a local landowning family with five uniquely characterised daughters, all connected by their shared beauty.

The charming bedrooms draw inspiration from the sisters, each boasting a unique style yet maintaining an undeniable connection. The inn's bar exudes warmth, featuring a wood-burning stove and plush Chesterfields, providing a cozy retreat after a day of dog walks, where you can unwind with a local beer or two. The inn serves traditional English dishes crafted from ingredients sourced from the surrounding Devonshire countryside, allowing you and your dog to mingle with locals and their furry companions.

Upon arrival, the Ley Arms distinguishes itself as a top choice for dog-friendly getaways with thoughtful touches. Furry friends are pampered with their own dog beds, bowls, food, and delectable treats to ensure they feel right at home. Additionally, local dog walkers and groomers are available. The spacious gardens offer a safe and inviting space for your dog to play and explore to their heart's content.

Beyond the inn's doorstep, a world of adventure awaits, as Devon offers an array of scenic walks and dog-friendly attractions. From coastal paths to woodland trails, you and your pup can embark on an unforgettable, pet-friendly holiday, immersing yourselves in the stunning landscapes of this beautiful region. The Kenn Valley is a haven for dog enthusiasts, providing a range of delightful activities and eateries that cater to our furry companions. Begin your day with a scenic stroll along the picturesque riverbanks, offering your dog the opportunity to frolic in the open spaces and relish the natural beauty of the surroundings. For those seeking more adventurous outings, the nearby Dartmoor National Park boasts extensive trails, allowing dogs to stretch their legs and revel in the captivating landscapes.
