Tucked away in the beautiful rolling hills of Exmoor National Park, dog-friendly Hunter's Inn in Devon is bursting with heritage and character. Owned by the National Trust, this charming B&B is nestled within 4 acres of pretty grounds and is perfectly situated on the border of Exmoor in North Devon. The characterful and well-appointed bedrooms offer the perfect retreat for couples and families wanting to kick back and relax, and the self-catering apartment offers both space and privacy for you and your trusty hound, with the benefits of the B&B just moments away. A great base from which to explore the stunning countryside of the Heddon Valley, the Devon coastline is just a stone's throw away for beach walks with your trusty hound. The restaurant at Hunter's Inn is closed Monday and Tuesday for evening meals.

Dine with Your Dog

The Exmoor Restaurant and Bar offers a wonderful backdrop for a hearty dinner or a quiet drink with your canine companion. The menu changes seasonally and offers a delicious selection of pub classics, all cooked to order using the freshest and locally sourced ingredients wherever possible. Some of the Superior rooms offer four-poster beds with views of Heddon Valley for a touch of added luxury and the Family rooms are perfect for small families. The self-catering apartment, Sunflower Lodge, is set within the privately owned Hunter’s Inn and boasts a generously proportioned lounge and dining area, well-fitted kitchen, two bedrooms and a bathroom with a walk-in shower and bath to soak in after a wonderful walk.
