Two dogs welcome
17th-century Hôtel de Bouilhac is a superb dog-friendly destination located in the heart of the Perigord region of France. Standing above the banks of the Vézère river, this impressive hotel provides beautiful views over Montignac. Typical Perigourdine architecture features throughout which is all the more impressive once you enter the courtyard and venture into the hotel itself. The vaulted stone ceilings of the restaurant rooms echos the relationship the area has to the famous Lascaux caves and the prehistoric foundations of the region. The Adobe stone floors and original fireplace add to the historic feel of the building. Once you ascend the stone stairs, you are transported from the Medieval era straight into the 17th-Century. The high ceilings, crown mouldings, fireplaces, original doors and windows provide a sense of 'home'. The bedrooms have been tastefully and individually decorated, inspired by the omnipresent natural world and waterways that surround the property, giving each room a feeling of calmness, comfort and tranquillity. Furry friends are made to feel truly welcome and can dine with you in the restaurant, bar, Medieval banqueting hall or even the lounge. The hotel features an enclosed courtyard and there is a park just opposite where your pooch can stretch, run and play!
