About this property

Located in the small peaceful village of Egton Bridge on the banks of the River Esk, The Horseshoe Hotel is a super dog-friendly grade II listed property on the Egton Estate that offers a friendly welcome to you and your dog. The hotel has six, very cosy dog-friendly rooms all unique in character and with lovely views. It is also renowned for its excellent food. Dogs are welcome in the restaurant and in all the rooms and the hotel has a large outdoor space. Enjoy the hotel’s very own farm shop, which is situated within the grounds. This is a must-visit with a delightful coffee shop, perfect for tea and cake. Suited for exploring the North York moors with your dog there are open moorlands and charming woods close by. Also visit the beautiful local towns of Whitby, Robin Hoods Bay which is on the Coast to Coast walk and surrounding areas.

Or hop onto the dog-friendly stream trains to Whitby, just a mile and a half away, and is very dog welcoming with most pubs, cafes and restaurants allowing dogs.
