Set in the gorgeous village of Upper Heyford, the dog-friendly Heyford offers 18 boutique style, dog-friendly rooms in the most beautiful part of Oxfordshire as well as a five bedroom dog-friendly house for larger parties. With super dog-friendly staff, your dog will be welcome in all areas of the hotel.

There are wonderful Cotswolds walks from the door and the hotel offers a fantastic dog-friendly restaurant which serves delicious, locally grown food designed as a glass house with fabulous views over to the village green. The hotel also offers state of the art facilities including a two lane bespoke bowling alley with an American style menu. There are fantastic walks nearby including the Kidlington Circular Walk, Piddington Circular Walk and there are fields behind the hotel where your dog can play. Blenheim Palace with its fantastic dog-friendly grounds is also nearby and you could also visit Bicester Shopping Village with your best furry friend in tow.

Dine with Your Dog

You can dine with our dog in the Baton restaurant that serves more traditional English food in a stunning setting with a glass room and ceiling of hanging plants overlooking the village green. Head chef, Liam champions locally sourced food which is beautifully presented and the menu includes Oxfordshire chicken schnitzel, the Heyford burger and there is a delicious Sunday lunch menu including Oxfordshire Rare Roasted beef or leg of Cotswolds lamb. Dogs are also welcome at the 455 which offers a large drinks selection and serves an American based menu.

The whole area is very pet friendly with the Cotswolds and all its gorgeous market towns and villages on the doorstep. Blenheim Palace is a wonderful place to visit, steeped in history and with its extensive dog-friendly parkland that hosts pet friendly events like Blenheim Palace Food Festival, Blenheim 7k Fun Run and more, with dog ice cream available for the hot summer days. For walks in the area, the hotel recommends the Kidlington Circular Walk, Piddington Circular Walk, Stoke Wood. There is also a lovely footpath in the fields behind the hotel area - popular with local residents and their pets.
