Casa Trebbio

Casa Trebbio is a beautiful house, with breathtaking views across the Garfagnana, the upper valley of the river Serchio. The typical Tuscan house is just 20 minutes North-West of Lucca and 45 minutes from Pisa, and is the perfect spot to visit these two historic cities. Casa Trebbio is located near a tiny village called Piazza Di Brancoli, in an even tinier hamlet on a hillside overlooking the Garfagnana Valley towards Lucca. From the house you can reach some shops at the bottom of the valley - just a 10 minute drive away - as well as a cafe and bar. A five minute car ride up the hill brings you to a local restaurant and bar.

The house is located on the top floor of a 3 story building - on the bottom two floors theres a cellar which will eventually form part of the house. The house has been entirely renovated to a high standard and some quintessentially English influences. You and your pooch(es) be provided with have every modern comfort you could wish for! Just in a gorgeous old country house in Italy!

From the balcony, you’ll enter into the kitchen (cucina), which has everything you need, including your own pasta maker! Beautiful views to the East of the terrace. The kitchen leads through to the dining room (sala da pranzo), which also has that stunning view to the East. A corridor (corridoio) then leads to through the rest of the house, with the bedroom (camera da letto) first, which has the same wonderful view as the kitchen and dining room. The corridor opens up into the lounge (soggiorno) with a comfy sofa-bed. The two windows look down the valley to the West, as do the windows in the bathroom (bagno).

You and your pooch will be able to soak up the stunning vistas on the terrace that has been built and designed to include a comfy seating area, pizza and bread oven, and a BBQ! In Italy, it's all about outdoor living! You can sit back and breath in with the warm Tuscan air with your two- and four-legged family. The terrace is the perfect sunny spot to enjoy your morning coffee, or in the evening you can watch the sun slide away behind the hills. It’s made for eating, drinking and soaking up the sun and the view.

Tuscany is one of the most picturesque regions of Italy, with so much to see and do. Not only will you find charming villages & historic cities such as Lucca & Pisa, but also a lot of nature for you and your dogs to explore. Italy is generally much more pet-friendly than the UK, so you'll be able to bring your pooch with you almost anywhere.
