Little Yew Tree Lodge is positioned in a small village called Worlds End in the beautiful Hampshire countryside. Sleeping for up to four guests, there are two bedrooms, one with a kingsize bed and the other with a double, both boasting their own modern en-suite bathrooms with walk in showers.
French doors lead to a lovely patio area off the rear bedroom, the perfect spot for that morning coffee. The large rear garden is the perfect spot to enjoy both day and night. Why not escape the sun and shelter with a book under the sheltered pergola. Or enjoy a relaxing time in the wood-fired, oxygen-cleaned hot tub with led lights. A perfect way to spend a summer’s evening.

Easy reach are beaches at Hayling Island, Southsea, and West Wittering’s and just a 25-minute drive from the nautical city of Portsmouth with the amazing views from the top of Spinnaker Tower, designer outlet shopping and waterside dining at Gunwharf Quays. Day trips to the Isle of Wight and HMS Victory and the Mary Rose Exhibition, The D-Day Museum, Southsea castle and Blue Reef Aquarium. Parts of this characterful Grade II listed property dates back to the 15th century, with some later additions, mainly in the 17th and 18th centuries. It is steeped in history, and was formerly a pub, a school, a place for the manufacture of bespoke bricks and tiles, and also a doctors surgery. This traditional, detached family home enjoys some charming features such as beams, tiled floors, inglenook fireplaces, original oak floors, wood panelling in the dining room, a Rayburn, walled garden and a wood burner. The house is set just back from the main road which leads to the town, (there may be some road noise although the property is secondary glazed), and is conveniently located for local pubs and restaurants - the nearest only two minutes walk away, and a comprehensive range of independent shops, such as a butchers, bakery, greengrocers and more. In a tranquil countryside setting, The Art Barn is a wonderful old barn that has been completely converted to sleep four guests in two bedrooms. The master bedroom has a queensize bed with an en-suite bathroom with roll-top bath and separate shower cubicle. The second bedroom offers twin beds, and the property also benefits from a second shower room. For those that need to catch up on emails, desk space is available. French doors lead out to a private lawned garden with patio area with an outdoor table and benches for six, a couple of armchairs and a BBQ. You can enjoy sitting outside in complete privacy here, with it being screened by trees from the owner’s main house and private garden.
The Art Barn, formally used by the owner as her art studio is a very inspiring space, so if you have a creative flare don’t forget to bring your sketch pad as there is lots to inspire you. The owners have a cat and friendly dog, but please be aware the property is not suitable for anyone with an allergy to horses.
