    The most famed beauty spot and well-loved ancient tor, Haytor Rock, is just a 13-minute drive away. Whether on foot or on bike, there are endless routes straight from the doorstep and the more adventurous may wish to tackle the rugged and dramatic Dartmoor Tors. As you head into the cottage you will enter into cosy living and dining area which showcases beautiful beamed ceilings, comfortable seating, a Smart TV with freesat and Sky and a wood burner (the first bundle of logs and kindling are provided). Gather your friends and family around the dining table for a celebratory meal. The well equipped kitchen has everything needed for your home cooking, including an electric oven, electric hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and a microwave.     The Southwest coastal path and the local beaches of Teignmouth, Shaldon and Dawlish are around a 40-minute drive away. Day trips to the beaches in the South Hams such as Blackpool Sands and Goodrington Beach also offer a great alternative for a fun day-out and they are within an hour’s drive. Bovey Castle is 15 minutes’ drive away, Gidleigh Park is 25 minutes, 45 minutes from the cathedral city of Exeter and 30 minutes to Tavistock.
