Dare Valley Park is a great place for taking in the nature and listening to the birds with 500 acres of pond dipping. The property is also within a short distance of the Ystradfellte waterfalls and Penyfan. If you would like to spend an afternoon shopping, then the retail park at Cyfarthfar has plenty of shops for you to peruse. If you want to leave the car behind, the city of Cardiff is easily accessible by train from Aberdare for a day out. For those looking for watersports or a trip to the beach, Barry Island is 25 miles from the property. Whatever you decide to do this converted stables is greatly placed for all activites.
